Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing; by reducing stress in people’s lives can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body and reflexologists work these points and areas.

Reflexology is an easy therapy to receive; the most clothing that you will have to remove are your shoes and socks! It is important that you are able to relax, so Louise uses a couch for your comfort. You may wish to lie flat, be propped up, or have a roll under your knees.

A medical history will be requested at your first visit, prior to your treatment and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. Your records will be kept in accordance with GDPR Guidance.

This therapy involves Louise applying gentle pressure with her hands to your feet in order to feel the various reflex areas and points to release any tension found there to enhance your health, wellbeing and relaxation. As a recipient of reflexology, most clients feel very relaxed and calm afterwards with many experiencing an increase in energy.
