Rachel Phillimore established her practice in Chard soon after graduating in 1991. Mother to four boys, Rachel loves the challenge of every new patient! By discovering which structures are key to any given problem, she attempts to integrate the whole body. She offers advice on lifestyle and exercises and encourages self-help techniques wherever possible. Principal Osteopath of the Year 2016 (Institute of Osteopathy Awards).
A keen gardener, Rachel loves to be in natural environments. A daily walker she loves the challenge of hill walking and travelling.

Laila Simon qualified with commendation from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She studied Osteopathy at master’s level alongside Naturopathy. She has a professional, calm, and caring approach to treatment. Her background as a yoga teacher has given her a deep understanding of movement, breathing patterns and how they affect our physical and mental wellbeing. She integrates this knowledge into her Osteopathic practice and has an ability to calm even the most frayed nervous system. Primarily a structural, hands on Osteopath, she will assess the entire body to see where balance is needed. She regularly provides rehabilitation advice in the form of structured exercise plans and nutritional guidance.
In her spare time Laila enjoys being active and regularly attends dance sessions, cycles, gardens and has climbed many mountains!
